This little spot has some great fish and chips. We got the Halibut. Food was ready quickly and the staff were friendly. Tip, they only take cash but have an ATM onsite.

Sooooo good definitely heavy food and very fried but that’s to be expected at a place like this! The pickerel was delicious & poutine tons of outdoor seating too and friendly staff!

This is a great way to take the kids out for something. It is a good as you are kind of place. For a food truck it is clean, lots of options, the service great and the seating is perfect. No flash just clean and outdoors. My fish was so good and it was more fish than batter, which, is a pleasant surprise. We stopped in after running an errand and it was perfect. Next time I will get an ice cream as well.

If you're looking for a very good food truck experience. This is the place to go. We had the pickerel fish and chips. I'm not big on breaded anything. This was very tasty. Good size piece of fish . Breading was nice and crispy. Fries were equally good. The piece of fish is so big we were able to share one meal with a side of onion rings. The onion rings were on the greasy side , but tasted good. Lots of picnic tables to sit at. It's definitely out of the way , but well worth the drive.

I took my son to the Goofy Newfie today for a birthday lunch & our first visit. We both were extremely happy with our food choices & so was our dog for the treat he received from the wonderful lady that took our order. The halibut was the best I’ve had in a I long time & it was a good size. The batter was crispy & not greasy. I also tried the Newfie fries & enjoyed that as well. The weather was cold & windy but the cars kept rolling in. We will definitely be going back here! & our new found drink of choice is the crush lime. So refreshing!

The setup is fantastic with an efficient order and pick up areas , lots of shade with seating or standing benches, pet friendly and games for the kiddos! Came for the newfie fries and added some pickerel. Delicious! Large portions suitable for sharing. Will be back to try some of the items from the rock!

Unmissable Food Truck Experience! We discovered The Goofie Newfie food truck on a drive back to Toronto from Midland—and it turned out to be one of the best spontaneous stops we've ever made. The food was absolutely top-tier. We tried the loaded long hot dog, the beef burger, and the haddock on a kaiser with coleslaw—each one was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, the quality was outstanding, and the prices were shockingly reasonable. Everyone in our group was thrilled, and we couldn’t stop raving about the taste long after we left. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, we dove into their ice cream selection: Chocolate, Orange Zang, and Muskoka Mocha. Each scoop was a delight—especially the Muskoka Mocha, which was a standout favorite. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. It felt like a place that genuinely cares about its food and its guests. We’ll definitely be making this a regular stop on future road trips. Highly recommend to anyone passing through!

Great fish and chips food truck, ordered the pickerel and it tasted fresh. The poutine was also delicious with lots of cheese and gravy. This is a takeout only spot with lots of outdoor seating available but parking is limited.
